It will take a village to reach our goal: educating one million business owners about the SBA.

As I have previously written about,  a few weeks ago, I set a goal to educate one million small business owners and entrepreneurs about the SBA this year.  We have not been resting on our laurels.   On February 1, we will launch the first generation of our SBAIGNITE platform – which will offer on-demand and virtual live events to teach about the SBA.

We feel strongly that our goal will help with unemployment and economic recovery.  The more business owners understand how to use debt responsibly to reach their goals; the faster jobs can be created.  Entrepreneurs also need to understand the benefits and incentives in the new relief act tied to SBA loans.

All of our training will be offered free of charge.  Participants will have the option to donate to a charity that helps struggling restaurants and send meals to shelters in need.

We are pleased with our progress on the training platform and the content and are excited to share it with all of you in a few days.  Where we are going to need help is in getting the word out.  We hope that corporations and associations that work with small business owners will encourage their constituents to train.  We are counting on reporters and influencers will get the word out about SBAIGNITE.

Launch day in next Monday February 1.  The first big virtual live event will be on February 3.  If you have any ideas about how we get the word out or know of anyone who might like to promote the platform, please comment below or feel free to email me directly at
